Faith sharing groups are a small family within the big parish family of Queen of Apostles.
Embracing Faith
God never intended for us to walk our spiritual journey alone. Joining a faith sharing group is a great way to connect with others and develop a closer relationship with God. Together, we open our Bibles, pray for others and special intentions, and challenge each other to walk and grow with Christ in our daily lives.Sharing Hope
Personal growth does not happen in isolation. Along this journey, we challenge and support each other to find hope and encouragement in God’s word. We watch over each other and grow together.Spreading Love
Small groups are a way of living out our purpose. What does God intend for us? That we love ourselves and others! As we spend time together, we form bonds that allow us to care and share, confide and confess, to forgive and be forgiven, to laugh and weep together, to be accountable and watch over each other, and to spread love together.
How it Works
Groups meet weekly in homes or at the parish and are structured for men, women, and couples. When joining, we will connect you with others in your age group and those who share similar experiences and interests. You do not have to be a member of our Pastorate to join a faith sharing group – everyone is welcome!

Friday Scripture Group
Join us on Friday mornings from 9:30-10:30 in the Upper Parish Center as we discuss the scripture readings for the upcoming weekend. Zoom is also available if you cannot join us in person.This bible study provides the opportunity to strengthen your faith, meet others, and deepen your knowledge of the scriptures. We invite you to bring your Bible and a friend. “When faith is shared, faith is strengthened.”

Deeper Relationship with God...We have thoughtful and transparent discussions on how God’s word prepares us to follow Him daily, as we grow deeper in our relationship with God, and build community and life-long friendships. We help each other understand the Catholic faith through our own experiences as we gather in faith, share in hope, and grow in love. Helped me Grow...My faith sharing group has helped me to grow by offering me perspectives I would have never thought of on my own. In preparing for our meetings, I have explored more resources and learned far more than I ever would have on my own.

Learn About Scripture...My small group has helped me to learn more about scripture which was why I joined the group. The part that I like best is we study Sunday's scripture, so when I go to mass on Sunday I have an idea of what to expect. This really helps me to listen and process the gospel on Sundays. Often times I am exhausted from a long day at work, but I know that the ladies in my group will give me love and support and I leave with an abundance of love and energy!

Anxiety Disappears...The anxiety of the week disappears with the Wednesday gathering of our faith sharing group. We read the weekly scripture, share our individual thoughts, listen to different perspectives, challenge ideas, and in doing so grow deeper in our faith. We learn, laugh, cry, and console each other and when our evening ends with our special prayers, our hearts are filled and spirits lifted.

Supportive...As I strive to follow Jesus and reach heaven, my faith group has been so supportive! They are fellow pilgrims on the same journey. Our discussions about Scripture and other faith questions/issues have encouraged me to dig deeper, pray more, and set aside time for reflection. They also serve as role models - strong in their beliefs and in the practice of our faith.
